About myself
My business operates as a sole proprietorship
established in 1983. I had recently graduated from Columbia-Montour Area
Vocational-Technical school majoring in
Graphic Arts and had
already been employed as a freelance photojournalist for area publications.
With an avid interest in photography, I decided to combine my knowledge of
printing with my skills in photography to offer a unique perspective to
clients developing newsletters or other photographic needs related to
printing. The entire time that I was developing my own business, I was also
working in the printing industry running small offset presses and doing
pre-press camera and platemaking.
I turned my on-the-job training into a way to grow
with the industry's standards and keep up with the increasing evolvement of
digital and computerized methods of photography and printing and continue
today to evaluate new processes and methods of producing quality photographs
from both traditional photographic film and digital computer files.
In addition to operating my own business, I'm a
photographer, graphic artist, office manager and webmaster at a promotional
products agency called Custom Advertising
and continue to work in photojournalism at the
Bloomsburg Press Enterprise.
With a continued interest in genealogy and family
research, I try to extend my professional knowledge and talent to those
seeking to preserve their family portraits or snapshots by providing reprint
services, photographic restoration or enhancement services. I can do as much
or as little as you decide and certainly welcome your own digital files to
provide quality prints.
I welcome your questions or discussion regarding your
specific project no matter what the size. The best way to put it is that I
care about meeting your needs regardless of if it's one special family
snapshot that you want to preserve for others or you want 50 - 8 x10 prints
from your recent family reunion.
